Appraisals of equipment, vehicles, firearms, and art are instead held to USPAP, and courts weigh the qualifications and method of the individual appraiser, which is why our reports document both.
It indemnifies any prior owner, lienholder, or later purchaser of the vehicle against expense, loss, or damage, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from issuance of the title. Under Miss. Code § 63-21-23 the bond stays in force for three years and is then released unless the state has been notified of a pending claim, a competing owner, or an undisclosed lien.
