Frequently Asked Questions About Reaching Us
Getting Started
What should I include when I first contact you?
Three things let us quote accurately on the first reply: what the items are (photos, plus any descriptions, receipts, or prior appraisals you have), what the report is for, and the date you need it by. If you use the request form, we follow up by text and email. If you would rather talk it through first, the phone number and inbox on this page reach a person during business hours.
Which is the best way to reach you: the form, email, or phone?
All three reach the same team. The request form is the quickest way to start an engagement. Email info@appraiseitnow.com when you have photos or documents to attach. Call or text +1 (301) 820-7664 when you are working to a deadline and want to talk before sending anything.
Working With Us
Can an attorney, CPA, executor, or lender request an appraisal on someone else's behalf?
Yes. Executors, attorneys, CPAs, and lenders regularly request appraisals for their clients. Tell us whose assets they are, who the report should be addressed to, and who will receive it, and we set the engagement up that way. If your counsel or lender needs our professional liability certificate on file, ask and we will send it.
Is there an office I can visit or bring items to?
There is nothing to bring in. We are headquartered at 443 Park Avenue South in Manhattan, but appraisals happen where the assets are: most are valued from photographs and documents, and when an inspection is needed we come to you rather than the other way around.
