We then adjust above that floor for maker, pattern rarity, completeness of the service, and condition, supported by realized auction results from venues like Sotheby's, Christie's, and Bonhams.

We inspect and record every purity stamp, maker's mark, town mark, and date letter, and a credible report includes close-up photographs of the marks alongside weights, pattern names, and condition notes. A famous maker or rare discontinued pattern documented through hallmarks can push value far above melt.
