The one that matches the decision. Fair market value, orderly liquidation value, and forced liquidation value can differ dramatically for the same machine because they assume different exposure times; lenders often underwrite against liquidation values while buyouts and taxes use fair market value.
Largely, yes. Effective January 1, 2026, Arizona exempts up to $500,000 of depreciated full cash value of qualifying business personal property, adjusted annually for inflation. Holdings above the exemption still require a detailed asset-by-asset valuation.
